McALLEN – The Jackson Avenue underpass at I-2 will be temporarily closed this week for construction activities related to the I-2 / I-69C Interchange project.
The closure will begin on Tuesday, October 21 at 4 p.m. and continue through the end of the week. During this time, detour signs will be in place to direct motorists through alternate routes.
Drivers are reminded to slow down and stay alert, and allow for extra travel time when driving through the work zone. All work is weather permitting.
