RIO GRANDE CITY, Texas – Starting Wednesday, October 16, drivers in Rio Grande City will encounter lane closures and possible delays on FM 755, just north of US 83.

Road crews will be removing a railroad crossing that is no longer in operation.

The job, which includes removing the existing concrete planking, a raised concrete median and railroad related pavement markings and signage, is expected to take about two weeks to complete.

McAllen Signal & Boring, LLC, is the project contractor and workers will be present in this work zone daily, day and night.
