BROWNSVILLE – Nighttime milling and paving operations are scheduled to begin Sunday, February 8, on northbound and southbound I-69E (US 77) in Brownsville, between FM 802 (Ruben Torres Blvd.) and State Highway 4.

Drivers will encounter lane and ramp closures while road crews are present, from 9 P.M. to 6 A.M. The overall scope of work, which includes removal of the top layer of asphalt, new pavement overlay and new pavement markings, is expected to be completed by August 2026.
