BROWNSVILLE – The Minnesota Avenue bridge, located between Starship Road and Zafiro Drive in Brownsville, is scheduled for demolition and replacement, starting Monday, January 19, 2026.
The estimated completion date for the replacement bridge is March 27, 2026. The new bridge will be widened to include two 12-foot travel lanes (one in each direction) and a 5-foot shoulder along each travel lane.
A guided two-mile detour route has been designated for drivers via Norton Drive, Morning Side Road, Southmost Avenue and California Road. (See Map)
