DONNA – A full closure of eastbound Interstate 2 (I-2) in Donna is planned Monday through Friday of this week, evenings and overnight, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., for pavement repairs.
All eastbound travelers will be diverted to the frontage road at the Val Verde (FM 1423) exit ramp and will be allowed to re-enter I-2 near the Main Street on ramp.
The maintenance work will improve the ride quality at the interstate overpass approaches and departures.
