McALLEN – Road construction crews working on the FM 494 (Shary Road) widening project in McAllen plan to temporarily close the west side of the FM 494 (Shary Road)/Mile 7 Road intersection to through traffic, starting Wednesday, April 15.
The partial closure is necessary to allows workers to reconstruct the west side of the intersection.
A detour route will be in place. Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead to avoid delays.
