TOWN HALL MEETING on October 15, 2014 from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm at the McAllen Chamber of Commerce located at 1200 Ash Ave., McAllen, TX.
Would you like to share your opinion on what your city and neighboring cities
can do to improve the local and regional economy?
Have you read or seen negative stories about the Rio Grande Valley or your city
in the media and asked what is being done to improve our image and reputation?
Have you wondered how the Valley is cooperating across county lines to attract more investment and jobs that will improve the quality of life for all citizens?
Our town hall meetings will offer you an opportunity to participate in a public discussion of perceptions of the Valley and its issues. We welcome your input.
You will learn how the Rio South Texas Economic Council is working to improve the image and reputation of the Valley through their Communications/Media Initiatives.
Experts from across the Valley will lead a panel discussion and provide answers to questions related to economic development, workforce, education, and others.
