FALFURRIAS, Texas â€“ U.S. Border Patrol agents discover more than 10 pounds of dangerous narcotics on a commercial bus.

Yesterday afternoon, Falfurrias agents working at the checkpoint referred a commercial bus to the secondary inspection area to conduct immigration inspections on all passengers on-board. While conducting the immigration inspections, a Border Patrol K-9 alerted to an item stored in the luggage compartment. An inspection of the item led to the discovery of more than 10 pounds of heroin worth more than $350K. Agents arrested the owner and turned the case over to the Drug Enforcement Administration. 

Border Patrol processed the case accordingly.
