BROWNSVILLE, Texas — Origo Works proudly welcomes an exciting new tenant to Sabal Market Center: The LIVIVO Music Hall. This premier live music venue will transform entertainment in the Rio Grande Valley. It will host top-tier concerts and cultural events, establishing Sabal Market Center as the ultimate dining and shopping destination.
The location, which spans over 17,000 square feet, will feature artist greenrooms and can accommodate between 750 and 850 guests in the main general admission concert hall. Additional space will be set aside for more intimate performances and private events. The music hall aims to showcase a diverse lineup of regional, national, and international artists in regional Mexican, rock, country, and jazz genres.
“This venue is something new and exciting to not just Brownsville, but the entire region,” said Matthew Lopez, Origo Works Real Estate agent who led the lease negotiations.

The region has long lacked a dedicated mid-sized concert venue, causing many touring artists to bypass South Texas. With experience working alongside industry leaders such as Live Nation and The Windish Agency, the team behind The LIVIVO Music Hall understands the challenges of attracting major acts to the area. This venue aims to change that by providing a high-quality space for live entertainment and fostering a diverse, vibrant audience experience.
The LIVIVO Music Hall will be built inside the historic ABC Theater, which closed in the 1990s. The redevelopment will honor the building’s legacy while incorporating extensive acoustic and structural enhancements to create an optimal concert experience. Construction is set to begin this year, with plans to open by the end of 2025.
