McAllen, Texas – The management team at the Casa de Palmas hotel announced that the property will be re-branding as a Trademark Collection by Wyndham hotel, effective May 9, 2019. The Casa de Palmas, which turns 101 years old in June 2019, is the Rio Grande Valley’s most distinctive and luxurious hotel.
Says general manager, Jeff Harper: “This exciting change will really launch the Casa de Palmas into a new era. Trademark Collection by Wyndham is an outstanding brand, which will allow us the opportunity to move this hotel forward in both service and style while continuing to identify with the heart of the Rio Grande Valley. We will gain the flexibility necessary to further enhance our guest service levels and guest engagement. Becoming part of the Wyndham Hotel Group will provide us with access to one of the world’s best reservation systems and a renowned loyalty program, Wyndham Rewards. We look forward to moving many of our guests over to the Wyndham Rewards program. The best part is that the management team that everyone is familiar with remains intact.”
Built in 1918, and most recently renovated in 2017, Casa De Palmas reflects the history of the Rio Grande Valley like none other. 165 Large well-appointed guest rooms welcome you with modern comforts and surround you with the beauty of historic Spanish style architecture.
