The McAllen Holiday Parade, and Christmas in the Park was the fun, free, family-friendly festival that took place in Municipal Park, adjacent to the stadium.  Thousands of families from the Region, including Mexico, had fun at Christmas in the Park, which featured food, beverages, games, activities, local performances, artisan vendors, carnival and free concerts that ran Friday, Dec. 6 from 5:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. and on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019. at 6:00 p.m.  

Attendees watched the balloon demonstration and visited the Budweiser Clydesdales on display, as well as the official Jerry Jone Private Tour Bus and the Dallas Cowboys Tailgate Trailer.

That Friday night, a free concert featured Grammy-award winning Siggno. And on Saturday night, as soon as the parade was over, fans flocked back to Christmas in the Park for another free concert, this time featuring the Norteño Regional musical group, Los Tigrillos. 

The Polar Express free park & ride shuttled from South Texas College, 29th St. and Pecan Blvd. to the Christmas Parade grounds.

The McAllen Holiday Parade was presented by H-E-B and powered by Bert Ogden & Fiesta Dealerships, Budweiser, Reliant and Driscoll Health System/Driscoll Health Plan.
