The Port of Brownsville welcomed state lawmakers during the 2023 Valley Legislative Tour hosted by the RGV Partnership on Jan. 28.
More than 100 individuals, including legislators and their key staff members, as well as other local and regional stakeholders, participated in bus and boat tours of the port facilities led by Port Director and CEO Eduardo A. Campirano and Brownsville Navigation District board members.
The visit highlighted the port’s role as the economic engine and maritime leader for the Rio Grande Valley, as well as critical infrastructure and transportation opportunities for the region.
