EDINBURG, Texas – The 18th Annual Texas Cook’Em: High Steaks In Edinburg is set for this Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Ebony Hill’s Golf Course, 300 W. Mark S Pena Dr.
Event organizers are gearing up to welcome thousands of visitors to this exciting FREE event.
Road Closure Information:
Starting at 6 A.M. On Saturday, October 12, 2024, a portion of Freddy Gonzalez will be temporarily closed from 4th St. to 9th St. Local drivers are advised to utilize S. Closner Blvd and 4th St. as an alternate route during this period. The road closure will conclude on Sunday morning, ensuring smooth traffic flow in the area.
Parking Options:
To accommodate the influx of visitors, event parking will be available at the following locations:
- South Middle School, 601 W Freddy Gonzalez Dr, Edinburg, TX
- Richard Flores Stadium, 1800 S Stadium Dr, Edinburg, TX
- Teleperformance, 1701 S Closner Blvd, Edinburg, TX
Pedestrian Safety:
For the safety of all attendees, pedestrians are strongly advised to utilize the designated crosswalk at the intersection of Mark S. Pena Dr. and Closner Blvd.
Rideshare Drop Off / Pick Up Location
Texas Cook’Em organizers and the Edinburg Police Department emphasize the importance of responsible drinking and sober driving. To facilitate safe transportation, designated drop-off and pickup locations for taxis, Uber, and Lyft have been arranged at Teleperformance, located at 1701 S Closner Blvd, Edinburg, TX.
