On Thursday, March 5, 2020, the Texas A&M University Higher Education Center at McAllen hosted an informational seminar on the COVID-19.
The seminar will focus on educating students, staff, and faculty about the virus, the current status of the pandemic, and important measures that can be taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The seminar is a collaborative effort between Texas A&M University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Science, the School of Public Health, the College of Liberal Arts, the College of Science, and the College of Engineering.
Since the inception of the COVID-19 pandemic, Texas A&M University has been at the forefront in educating its employees and students, along with other institutions, about COVID-19 and advocating for the health and wellbeing of their students, staff, and faculty through preventative measures.
The collaborative efforts of the University’s colleges and departments in creating the seminar and implementing prevention measures showcase the diverse impact of COVID-19 while demonstrating the collaborative spirit in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of its community.
