PHARR, Texas ā The Terracon Foundation announced a $8,000 grant to The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) to support graduate level engineering scholarships.
āUTRGV is a lead university in our region and its engineering and science colleges are contributing to the development of professionals in these fields,ā said Sam Rahmaninezhad, Ph.D., A.M.ASCE, senior engineer in Pharr, Texas, office who championed the grant. āThese funds will benefit those students who have the ambition to improve their lives but may lack the resources to do so.ā
