TCA Logistics has officially announced opening its 4th U.S. warehouse, marking a significant milestone in its growth and ability to meet cross-border logistics demands. Located at 5001 W Military Hwy., the McAllen facility strengthens the company’s presence in the region. It strategically positions itself to serve clients more efficiently by leveraging the much-anticipated Anzalduas International Bridge expansion.

The expansion of the Anzalduas Bridge, set to handle commercial cargo, is expected to streamline international crossings and significantly reduce transit times for logistics operators. This infrastructure upgrade will benefit manufacturing clients based in Mexico, who rely on smooth cross-border operations to maintain efficiency in their supply chains. The enhanced bridge will also simplify processes for businesses participating in the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) program, further improving security and compliance at the border.

CEO Carlos A. Canales Melhem of TRANCASA, who officially opened the facility on September 17, emphasized the strategic importance of this new warehouse during an interview with Texas Border Business. TCA Logistics, which offers a full range of logistics services across air, sea, land, and warehousing, partners with TRANCASA for land transportation. This comprehensive service offering positions TCA Logistics as a one-stop solution for businesses with diverse logistical needs. Canales Melhem explained, “We provide full service, so you don’t have to worry about anything. We provide everything.”

Canales Melhem highlighted the importance of TCA Logistics’ strong relationships with U.S. Customs and local municipalities, such as McAllen, Pharr, Mission, Roma, and Progreso. These partnerships are crucial to ensuring seamless operations and expanding opportunities, particularly with discussions around future border infrastructure projects like the proposed new bridge in Donna, Texas. “The more bridges we have open, the faster the economy flows, right? And we market ourselves better as a region,” he noted.

McAllen Mayor Javier Villalobos also celebrated the opening on social media, congratulating TCA Logistics and its partner, Corning, in anticipation of the bridge’s commercial cargo expansion. He remarked, “We keep working hard with our partners here and in Mexico to make the most possible with the region in which we are located.”

The McAllen warehouse is set to become a key logistics hub, driving faster, more efficient cross-border trade. As the Anzalduas Bridge prepares to expand its role in handling commercial cargo, it underscores TCA Logistics’ commitment to providing top-tier logistics solutions to customers with complex, cross-border operational requirements. The facility is expected to enhance the efficiency of TCA Logistics’ services, particularly for clients engaged in international trade between the U.S. and Mexico.
