EDINBURG – To better accommodate residents, Hidalgo County is partnering with Lone Star National Bank to provide motor vehicle registration renewals at the following locations:

This will be available on Monday, May 01, 2023. The registration renewal stickers will only be sold to a registered owner of the vehicle. The following is required:
1. Renewal Notice (VTR-39A)
2. Texas Identification or Driver’s license of all the registered owners
3. Vehicle Safety Inspection Report (VIC), must be completed each year within 90 days of the last date of the current registration.
4. Proof of Insurance
5. Phone number
