EDINBURG, Texas – After the official canvassing of the votes, newly elected Council member for Place 3, David Salazar Jr., will take the oath of office, marking the commencement of his service to the community. Additionally, those in attendance had the opportunity to witness Mayor Pro Tem David White, re-elected Council member for Place 4, reaffirm his commitment to serve the city. Municipal Court Judge Hector Bustos Jr. will also took the oath of office.
