McAllen, TX (November 8, 2017) – South Texas College will hold its fall Super Saturday event at its three main campuses; Starr, Pecan and Mid-Valley on Nov. 11 from 9 am to 2 pm.
The event will be a one stop shop for students to complete their Federal Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) or their Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA) to avoid long lines or delays.
“This event is about promoting the 2018-2019 FAFSA and TASFA submission,” said Juan Miguel Galvan, STC Director of Student Financial Services. “We are partnering with RGV Focus and other higher education institutions so students can begin working on their FAFSA or TASFA now instead of waiting until later.”
“Students just have to stop by with the required documents, and we help them with the rest. We will have knowledgeable staff available to help at all three campuses,” Galvan said.
