IDEA Public Schools is happy to announce that one of its own IDEA North Mission College Preparatory student, Ammy Garcia, has accepted Boston University and will be joining their track and cross country team with a full ride scholarship.
During a press conference, Garcia signed with Boston University and celebrated her accomplishments. She is ranked 6th in her class and holds the UIL District 31-3A current fastest 400-meter time at 63 seconds and has a GPA of a 4.4. She is also considered a three-time district champion in the 400-meter and is working on defending her title currently in her senior year.
