The Texas Association of Student Councils (TASC) is a non-profit organization serving high school and middle level student councils in Texas that aims to develop leadership abilities in students, promote democracy as a way of life and establish and uphold high standards for local councils. The TASC District 16 Chapter encompasses the counties of Hidalgo, Starr, Cameron, and Willacy.

As part of the annual conference, student leaders from PSJA Collegiate High School Program, currently serving as this year’s President School, held informative breakout sessions on leadership. Attendees also heard from PSJA Chief Academic Officer Dr. Rudy Trevino.
