STC Theatre and Dance presents “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?”, Nov. 7th-9th

McALLEN, Texas – South Texas College Theatre and Dance embarks upon its new season with its first production of the year, “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” by Edward Albee.

The production will run on Nov. 7, 8 and 9 at 7:30 p.m. and will include a matinee at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 10.  The Thursday, Nov. 7, evening performance will include an American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation.  

Performances will take place at STC’s Cooper Center for the Performing Arts Main Stage Theater at 3200 W. Pecan Blvd. in McAllen.

“Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” is a play that follows a night of verbal sparring, emotional revelations and gamesmanship between a middle-aged married couple and a younger couple. The play explores themes of truth, disillusionment and the nature of reality.

This production contains mature subject matter and may not be suitable for people under the age of 15. Parental/Guardian discretion is advised.

General admission tickets cost $5. Tickets can be purchased online at www.southtexascollege.edu/go/theatre, or at the door cash only the day of each performance.
