McAllen, TX (December 1, 2015) – In order to help students register for the spring 2016 semester during this busy holiday season, South Texas College (STC) has announced its holiday and extended hours that will be available at the Pecan, Mid-Valley, Starr County and Technology Campuses starting in December with select dates in January.
On Wednesday, December 16, registration services will be available at the Pecan, Mid-Valley and Starr County Campuses from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Registration services will continue December 17-18 at the Technology, Mid-Valley and Starr County Campuses. Due to construction, registration services will not be available at the Pecan Campus December 17-18. Students are advised to take advantage of registration services that will be available at the nearby Technology Campus located at 3700 W. Military Hwy.
In addition, extended hours will be available at the Pecan, Mid-Valley and Starr County Campuses on Saturday, Jan. 9, Saturday, Jan. 16 and Monday, Jan. 18 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Registration is also available 24/7 online via JagNet.
“We invite all new and current students to take advantage of the course options that are currently available for spring 2016,” said STC Dean of Enrollment Services & Registrar Matthew Hebbard. “Students who register early have more flexibility with their schedules, which allocates more time for studying and participating in campus clubs and organizations. We hope these holiday and extended hours give students more opportunities to visit us in person to start their spring 2016 semester in the right direction.”
