EDT’s Community Relations team serves as the direct extension of the Governor’s Office, representing the agency across all regions of Texas. The Community Relations Specialists assist communities in building economic development capacity by conducting economic development workshops, business retention and expansion programs, community engagement visits, and presenting updates on state programs and resources.
