MISSION, Texas – U.S. Border Patrol agents assisted a local law enforcement agency with stash house discovery.
On Saturday afternoon, McAllen Border Patrol Station received a request for assistance from the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office (HSCO) regarding 13 subjects in their custody. HSCO deputies informed Border Patrol agents they had responded to a 911 call at a residence but, upon entry, could not locate the caller. HSCO Deputies informed agents the residence appeared to be an active stash house. Responding agents interviewed the subjects and identified all 13 as illegal aliens from the countries of Mexico, Ecuador, El Salvador and Honduras.
Border Patrol will process all subjects accordingly.
