Pharr, TX – September 4, 2025 – The City of Pharr, Pharr EDC, and SRS Development are proud to announce the groundbreaking of a new $4.5 million distribution center, which took place on Thursday, September 4th at 300 Eldora Road, Pharr, Texas.

The new 31,000-square-foot facility represents a major investment in Pharr’s growing role as a regional leader in logistics and international trade. Strategically located near the Pharr International Bridge, the center will serve as a key hub for distribution across U.S. and global markets, with projected annual sales of $10 million.

“We are excited to welcome SRS Development’s new distribution center to Pharr,” said Pharr Economic Development Corporation President and CEO Victor Perez. “This project will create jobs, strengthen our economy, and reinforce Pharr’s position as one of the most important trade corridors on the U.S.–Mexico border.”

The development is expected to generate new employment opportunities for local residents, expand Pharr’s tax base, and encourage further investment in the community. The project reflects the city’s ongoing commitment to supporting economic growth and providing resources for businesses through partnerships with the Pharr Economic Development Corporation and regional stakeholders.
