EDINBURG, Texas – Lights, camera, action! The City of Edinburg’s 11th Annual South Texas International Film Festival (STXIFF) officially begins today at the Edinburg Arts, Culture, and Events (ACE) Center, 315 W. McIntyre Street, in the heart of the city’s cultural district. Running from September 10–13, this celebrated event brings together filmmakers, students, and movie lovers for four unforgettable days of world-class cinema.

Recognized as one of South Texas’s premier cultural events, STXIFF celebrates the art of storytelling through film, offering audiences a carefully curated lineup of local, regional, national, and international works. Beyond the screenings, festivalgoers can immerse themselves in educational panels, industry workshops, networking mixers, and the signature Red Carpet Opening and Gala Awards Ceremony.
This year’s festival is expected to welcome more than 50 filmmakers from around the globe, creating invaluable opportunities for creative exchange. With the exception of select workshops and the Gala Awards, all film screenings are free and open to the public.

Guests can also purchase light refreshments and snacks throughout the event. Proceeds will support local arts programming and help fund future cultural initiatives in Edinburg. STXIFF is proudly presented by the Edinburg Cultural Arts Division in collaboration with the Edinburg Arts Foundation.
