McAllen, TX (May 21, 2015) – The South Texas College summer semester is right around the corner with classes starting on June 1. Current and new students, including high school seniors, are encouraged to make the most of their summer by registering now for traditional and online classes.

Summer sessions range from 4 to 8 weeks, giving students plenty of time to not only get ahead with their coursework, but also have time to enjoy their summer vacation. In addition, students can rely on classroom environments that facilitate learning with small classroom sizes averaging 26 students per every instructor. Whether students are planning to attend college in the Rio Grande Valley or at another institution in the fall, South Texas College is ready to help prepare them for success.

“Take advantage of our summer schedule and get ahead,” said STC Dean of Enrollment Services and Registrar Matthew Hebbard. “We have wonderful staff at all of our centers who are ready to help you register for classes. Online and even hybrid classes, that combine face-to-face classroom instruction with online learning, are available.”
