McAllen, TX (November 15, 2017) – South Texas College will be hosting an exciting expo this week for students and job seekers wanting to know more about pursuing a lucrative career in the fields of telecommunications and mechatronics.
The Telecommunications and Mechatronics Expo will take place STC’s Technology Campus located at 3700 W. Military Hwy. in McAllen on Nov. 16 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Local companies in the robotics industry will have exhibits to display their company and potentially recruit qualified employees. Potential students and employees are invited to attend the event and visit with local companies in the robotics and telecommunications field.
“We want to promote and let current and future students as well as the general public know of two technical careers programs in Telecommunications and Mechatronics,” said Pedro Pompa, faculty with the Department of Computer and Advanced Technologies at STC. “Events like these enhance our program, and serves to increase our graduates in the industry in our area.”
