ALAMO, Texas – A Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD (PSJA ISD) Senior is one of four students selected for the Magic Valley Electric Cooperative’s 2022 Youth Tour Program. As a youth delegate, PSJA Memorial Early College High School Sophomore Naomi Abrego will get to witness government in action during an all-expenses paid trip to Austin and Washington, D.C. to be held in June 2022.

Every year Magic Valley awards only four Rio Grande Valley high school sophomores and juniors an all-expenses-paid trip departing from Austin to Washington, D.C. to join over 1,200 student delegates from across the Nation witnessing government in action and visiting monuments, the Capitol, Smithsonian Institute, and other historical and political sites.

“Congratulations to Naomi for being selected to represent the RGV and her PSJA Family as a youth delegate,” said PSJA Superintendent Dr. Jorge L. Arredondo. “Getting the opportunity to visit our State and Nation’s capital will be an enriching and life-changing experience.”
