For many years, photo booths were located in shops, department stores, movie theaters and other open-to-the-public locations – mainly used to get passport photos done or by groups of teenagers cramming in them to take a fun photo. It was until the last couple of years that photo booths started to become popular in big events like weddings, quinceañeras, business parties, etc. They became a must-have for event organizers.

“It’s been a little over a year, we saw that people were enjoying the photo booths at parties,” said Gustavo Alvarado, acting manager of SuperboothsTX. “This concept is different because it has virtual photographers that ask you to do poses,” said Alvarado. “And most importantly it is good for companies that are looking to do email gathering or photo marketing.”

These booths can be personalized to advertise different companies, it can have their logo or multiple companies’ logos in the outside design and when the photo is printed. Perhaps the greatest innovation of this company is their email gathering system.

“Because the booths can have their logo, like this one has three companies that we are featuring, and we are gathering all the emails of people taking pictures.” Said, Alvarado. “So, the emails are what is valuable for somebody, especially at a trade show where people ask you to write down your email but you don’t do it, so here it’s very simple because you can put your email in the machine.”

The way that this system works is that people who take pictures in the photo booth are suggested to introduce their email to obtain their picture through an email. According to Alvarado, 95% of the people who use the photo booth is more likely to leave their email, in order to receive the picture.

“At trade shows, people are hesitant to leave their emails.” He said. “And there are companies that pay up to $50 per email address, and this is a very inexpensive way to gather 95% of emails.”

SuperboothsTX is already looking into the future, their business is a very fast-paced changing business because of software improvements and innovation. Part of their uniqueness is that the booths don’t print out a regular photo strip, but a bigger template that can be branded for the company, event or person who rents the photo booth.

“This business itself is always changing as far as software so we want to change the virtual photographers, and it’s always updating. Another cool thing about this is that is not a little photo strip, it’s a big 6x8in template,” said Alvarado. “The possibilities are endless because even the structure of the booth itself can be branded.”

SuperboothsTX is aiming both business owners that are looking to either brand themselves or obtain emails for future follow-ups and event planners who would like to have a photo booth at their wedding, quinceañera, community event, and etc.
