EDINBURG, Texas – The Edinburg Economic Development Corporation (EEDC) joins Siddons-Martin Emergency Group in celebrating the grand opening of their newest service facility on Thursday, April 3, 2025. Located at 700 Independence Drive, the 12,000-square-foot building sits within the rapidly growing Edinburg North Industrial Park.
Siddons-Martin invested $1.9 million into the project following a groundbreaking in May 2022 and has since established its new service facility at the site. The facility currently employs nine people and provides repair and maintenance services for fire apparatus, ambulances, and other emergency vehicles throughout South Texas—including the counties of Cameron, Willacy, Hidalgo, Starr, Zapata, Jim Hogg, Brooks, and Kenedy.
“Projects like this reinforce what we know about our North Industrial Park. It has a great location and is easily accessible to the entire Rio Grande Valley and beyond,” said Raudel Garza, Executive Director of the Edinburg EDC. “We’re proud to welcome Siddons-Martin Emergency Group to our community and support their mission of keeping emergency services running across the region.”
The new site marks Siddons-Martin’s relocation from Pharr to Edinburg, expanding their reach and allowing more efficient service to local agencies and first responders. The company purchased the 3.5-acre site from the EEDC as part of a long-term plan to improve access to affordable, well-located industrial property.
Siddons-Martin Emergency Group is one of the largest emergency vehicle dealerships in the country. It provides fire apparatus and emergency vehicle sales and service to firefighters and first responder agencies in Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee, Utah, and Nevada. Headquartered in Houston, Siddons-Martin is the sole authorized dealer for Pierce Manufacturing fire apparatus in these states and also represents leading manufacturers of ambulances, boats, and rescue vehicles.
Siddons-Martin joins a growing list of companies expanding operations at the Edinburg North Industrial Park, including RGV Tours, Nicho Produce, RGV CDL, and CIL Logistics.
