PHARR, Texas – Hidalgo County Precinct 2 Commissioner Eduardo “Eddie” Cantu proudly announces the 2nd Annual StrongFit Fitness Champions Celebration, to be held Tuesday, February 10 at 10 a.m. at the Hidalgo County Precinct 2 Indoor Sports Complex, located at 3600 E. Eldora Road, Pharr, TX 78577.
This ceremonial event will recognize participants of the P2-StrongFit Program, an empowering, adaptive, and all-inclusive fitness initiative that is carefully and creatively modified to serve individuals with disabilities.

“Our approach to adaptive fitness is unique,” said Commissioner Cantu. “The program is tailored to be appropriately challenging for individuals with varying levels of physical and/or cognitive abilities. All workouts and exercise movements are adjusted to meet the distinct needs of individuals with special needs or disabilities.”
