McAllen, TX – All McAllen Board of Trustees candidates have been invited to the McAllen Citizens League noon Luncheon. The Political Forum is scheduled for Thursday, February 28^that noon at the Salvation Army Center on 23^rdStreet and Pecan in McAllen.

“Every place on the board that is up for re-election is contested, places 1, 2, 4 & 5,” said Christopher Julian, President of the League. “This will be a very important forum”, Julian concluded. The forum format allows each candidate 2-minute opening comments. After all the candidates have spoken, questions from League members only will be fielded.

The meeting is open to the public at no charge with lunch available for $12 for members and $15 for non-members. Membership in the league is only $10 per year.
