Sarah Sagredo-Hammond has been recognized as one of the Top 20 Women Leaders of 2025 by the Canadian Global Awards, in collaboration with Humble Beginning Stories. The honor celebrates women who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, vision, and purpose across borders.

In her announcement, Sagredo-Hammond reflected on the journey from a personal story shared years ago to receiving an international honor in 2025. “From a 2018 interview to a 2025 global honor — I’m still living a humble beginning,” she stated. She emphasized the enduring importance of perseverance, saying, “The truth is, I still feel like I’m at the beginning of something new and exciting every day.”
The Canadian Global Awards recently expanded their scope to recognize changemakers across both Canada and the United States. Sagredo-Hammond expressed pride in representing her country in this broader platform. “I’m especially proud to represent the U.S. as part of this cross-border celebration of leadership, vision, and purpose,” she said.
Reflecting on the challenges and rewards of her entrepreneurial path, she shared, “No matter the struggles, setbacks, or self-doubt that come with being an entrepreneur, each morning brings a fresh reason to rise, to serve, and to lead with faith, fire, and humility.” She described the award as “a reminder: growth isn’t always loud. Sometimes it’s just staying the course with heart.”
Her remarks also paid tribute to the many people who supported her along the way. “To everyone who’s been part of this road — my family, my community, my mentors, and every woman who dared to start something without knowing where it would lead — this honor is ours,” she said.
The Canadian Global Awards’ Top 20 Women Leaders recognition, powered by Humble Beginning Stories, is designed to highlight outstanding women leaders who are making an impact in their industries and communities.
