Residents of the region will be able to drop-off 4 tires per person, free of charge for proper shredding and disposal at many city and county tire-collection sites across the Valley.

Thus far, this collaborative effort has resulted in the collection and proper disposal of over 35,000 tires that may have likely been illegally dumped, posing serious health, fire and drainage concerns.

We urge local residents to utilize this free opportunity to dispose of used tires and do their part to provide a safer and cleaner environment for the entire Rio Grande Valley!
