The City of McAllen is scheduled to begin work on storm sewer improvements along N. 8th Street between Harvey and Daffodil Avenues.
Due to related construction activity, Harvey Avenue will be closed to all through traffic between N. 10th and N. 6th Streets beginning Wednesday, November 3,2021 and continuing through Wednesday, November 10, 2021. Access will still be available to adjacent businesses and homes.
Motorists are encouraged to use nearby Fern or La Vista Avenues as an alternate east/west route during the road closure period and exercise extreme caution when traveling in and around work zones.
