Thank you very much for being an important part of Rise of the Region 2025, an economic development assessment of Rio South Texas including Northern Tamaulipas.
As part of the study, COSTEP and partners are gathering business and market intelligence on the seven counties of the United States, including Cameron, Hildalgo, Jim Hogg, Starr, Webb, Willacy, and Zapata counties. Additionally, they are seeking insight from leaders in the select municipios of Camargo, Guerrero, Gustavo Diaz Ordaz, Matamoros, Mier, Miguel Aleman, Nuevo Laredo, Reynosa, Rio Bravo, and Valle Hermoso in the State of Tamaulipas.
It’s a dynamic, challenging time with recent events on the global front. But with challenges come incredible opportunities. Now, more than ever, we can formally analyze our individual communities and the region as the whole, to determine strengths and areas for improvement. It’s a time to discover who we are, where we have been, and most important, where we are going.
