RIO HONDO –The Rio Hondo lift bridge will be out of service until further notice. Over the weekend, a vehicle went off the road and struck the junction box that powers the bridge. Due to exposed wiring, it was necessary for AEP to turn off power to the junction box leaving the bridge with no power.
The lift bridge will remain in lifted position until the junction box can be repaired.
FM 106 will be closed at FM 106 & FM 1846 for westbound traffic and at FM 106 & FM 508 for eastbound traffic.
