RIO GRANDE CITY, Texas – The Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley would like to extend its heartfelt gratitude to The Rio Grande Valley Chevy Dealers for awarding us an incredibly generous $25,000 donation to support our daily efforts to provide essential food assistance in the Rio Grande Valley.
All eight Chevy dealerships across the Rio Grande Valley have banded together to sponsor the Food Bank RGV and provide us with much needed support for the upcoming year. Their contribution will provide 125,000 meals to families and individuals across our region facing food insecurity amidst the ongoing inflation crisis.
A special thank you to Rio Motor Co. for being a part of this remarkable act of kindness. In partnership with the South Texas Food Bank, Rio Motor Co. will donate $3,125 to the South Texas Food Bank to help our neighbors along the western border combat hunger.
