EDINBURG, Texas – Rio Grande Valley Sector (RGV) Border Patrol agents arrested three illegal aliens with prior convictions for sexual offenses.
Yesterday, agents assigned to the McAllen Border Patrol Station (MCS) apprehended a group of six illegal aliens south of Mission, Texas. Record checks on a national of Guatemala, revealed he was convicted for Indecent Exposure and Solicit Lewd Act in Los Angeles, California. He was sentenced to 365 days in jail and 36 months probation for the first charge and to serve consecutively an addition 180 days confinement for the second charge. The Guatemalan national was previously removed from the United States.
Shortly after, agents assigned to MCS apprehended a group of nine illegal aliens in Sullivan City, Texas. As they were being processed, it was discovered that a national of Honduras, Amaya-Lopez, Victor Alfredo, was arrested by Harris County Sheriff’s Office in Houston, Texas. He was subsequently convicted for Sexual Assault – 2nd Degree Felony and sentenced to three years confinement.  He also has a previous removal from the United States.Â
Today, agents assigned to the Falfurrias Border Patrol Station, arrested a group of eight illegal aliens in the brush south of Falfurrias, Texas. Records checks on a Honduran national revealed a previous arrest by Waukegan Sheriff’s Office for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Minor in Waukegan, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. The Guatemalan national was subsequently sentenced to serve 168 days confinement and 30 months probation. He has also been removed from the United States.
Border Patrol processed the subjects accordingly.
