EDINBURG, Texas – The City of Edinburg invites the public to celebrate the grand opening of the highly anticipated Edinburg Arts, Culture, and Event Center, better known as the ACE, at 315 W. McIntyre. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on Wednesday, November 20, at 10 a.m., marking a significant milestone in the cityās commitment to enriching the local cultural landscape.
The ACE Center, a 36,000-square-foot venue, represents a $14 million investment, equally funded by the City of Edinburg and the Edinburg Economic Development Corporation. This ambitious initiative is set to be a transformative force for the arts, fostering creativity and economic growth in the heart of Edinburg. Whether it’s preschool children, teenagers, or seniors, the ACE Center will be a hub for creative discovery, offering everyone a place to grow artistically.
“This facility is more than just a buildingāit’s a place where our community can unite, learn, and create. The ACE Center will cultivate the next generation of artistic entrepreneurs and breathe new life into downtown Edinburg,” Mayor Garza said.
The new ACE Center, equipped with state-of-the-art dance and art studios, a digital design lab, gallery spaces, and more, is designed to inspire creativity and collaboration while supporting local artists. Edinburgās Cultural Arts Department is excited to announce a diverse lineup of educational programs, workshops, and classes at the ACE Center, which will be open six days a week starting in early 2025. Offerings will include music, theater, and dance classes, as well as meetings, conferences, and evening events featuring live performances like music and poetry readings. These year-round activities will ensure that the community has continuous access to the arts.
