EDINBURG, Texas – Precinct 4 Commissioner Ellie Torres and Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) are pleased to announce the ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly constructed Doolittle Bridge. This significant bridge replacement project enhances the connectivity and safety of the roadway between Davis Road and Ramseyer Road on Doolittle Road.

The Doolittle Bridge project, a collaboration between TxDOT and Precinct 4, was completed on schedule and within approximately six months. With a total project cost of approximately $1.5 million dollars, this endeavor aimed to expand and improve the safety of the bridge, ensuring better connectivity for the residents and enhancing transportation infrastructure in the region.
