The RGV Chapter of the Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas is gleaming with pride as they prepare to host the State HWNT Convention in McAllen on October 4th – 6th at The Embassy Suites.  There will be 3 days of powerful workshops with key speakers, an Expo with local and state vendors, networking opportunities and a lot of special fun events throughout the Convention.  Volunteers will be needed to assist at the convention as over 200 women will be attending.

The Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas (HWNT), is a non-profit state-wide organization established in 1986.  HWNT’s Purpose is to seek to promote the advancement of women in public, corporate and civic life through education, personal and professional development.  HWNT and its 10 Chapter’s state wide unite to celebrate the positive image and values of its Hispanic heritage and empowering women across the great State of Texas. 

The RGV Chapter meets once a month on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Double Tree Hotel in McAllen.  Every dinner meeting provides a speaker with important and valuable information for a woman.  Membership dues are $50 a year.
