EDINBURG, Texas – Rio Grande Valley Sector (RGV) Border Patrol agents arrested three Mara-Salvatrucha (MS-13) gang members in 48 hours.
Kingsville Border Patrol Station agents working near Riviera, Texas, apprehended a group of migrants as they were being transported further north into the interior of the United States. Among the group was a 21 year old male from El Salvador who is a confirmed MS-13 gang member.
MCS agents working in Granjeno, Texas, apprehended a group of 72 migrants after they illegally entered the United States. Among the group was a 27 year old male from Honduras who is a confirmed MS-13 gang member.
Moments later, MCS agents working in Hidalgo, Texas, apprehended a group of 16 migrants after they illegally entered the United States. Among the group was a 26 year old male from El Salvador who is a confirmed MS-13 gang member.
U.S. Border Patrol have arrested 7,830 criminal migrants this fiscal year. More than 1,600 of those criminal migrants were apprehended by Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol agents.
Border Patrol processed the subjects accordingly.
