WASHINGTON, DC – Congresswoman Monica De La Cruz (TX-15) has been reappointed Vice Chair of the Housing and Insurance Subcommittee by Financial Services Chairman French Hill (AR-02). This continues De La Cruz’s subcommittee leadership position from her first term into the new Congress. She is proud to continue to leverage her nearly two decades of insurance industry experience to help craft public policy solutions for the House Financial Services Committee.
“The work of this subcommittee is of critical importance, especially at a time when housing expenses have become the single highest monthly cost for many Americans,” De La Cruz said. “I look forward to working with Committee leadership to share Republican plans to lower costs through market-based solutions and I thank Chairman Hill for the opportunity to continue serving.”
