McALLEN, Texas – The 2026 PONY Summer Super Series: International Tournament of Champions will bring elite teams from across the Rio Grande Valley, Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Mexico, as they have selected McAllen to host their July tournament.
The tournament will take place July 23–26, 2026, at the McAllen Youth Baseball Complex, with Opening Ceremonies on July 22. Teams in divisions 5U through 12U will compete in a format guaranteeing four games, including two pool games seeded into a double elimination bracket.

Mayor Javier Villalobos said, “We are thrilled to welcome teams from across the region and beyond. This tournament highlights the talent of our young athletes and showcases McAllen as a premier destination for youth sports.”
Awards will include team trophies, banners, and rings for 1st and 2nd place, as well as MVP honors for each game and a Tournament MVP award. Entry fee is $400 per team, and spots are limited, so teams are encouraged to register early.
“Sports bring families and communities together while teaching teamwork, discipline, and leadership,” said City Manager Isaac J. Tawil. “These are the very qualities that prepare our youth for the future we’re building, because in McAllen, Next Is Now.”
The 2026 PONY Summer Super Series is open to all teams, regardless of whether they play in PONY leagues, making it a true travel/select tournament modeled after McAllen’s successful Softball International World Series.
