Mario Reyna reached out to Texas Border Business for an important announcement and he said, “I am excited about the significant impact Region One Education Service Center ( Region One) is making in our community. Their initiative, Dropout Prevention and Recovery Student Conference, designed to help students who have dropped out by connecting them with programs that enable them to complete their high school education, is a critical step forward and will help us create more human capital.

We must support Region One in every way possible, as increasing the number of high school graduates is essential for our community’s growth and future prosperity.

I’ve attached the letter from Region One describing how they want to help our young people who need to finish their education. Please take a minute to read it.

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to extend a special invitation for your organization to become a sponsor for our upcoming Dropout Prevention and Recovery Student Conference, which will take place on February 25, 2025 from 8:00am-4:00pm. This event is designed for young adults aged 18-26 who have previously dropped out of high school but are now committed to earning their high school diploma and industry-based certification or moving on to post-secondary education.

The conference will provide attendees with the tools, resources, and guidance they need to succeed both academically and personally. Topics will include:

  • Financial Literacy and Budgeting
  • Parenting Support and Family Wellness
  • Health and Wellness Strategies
  • Personal Growth and Goal Setting
  • DPR Student Professional Makeovers

Our goal is to not only help these young adults complete their high school education but also empower them to make informed decisions and build a strong foundation for their future careers. As an incentive to our students, we are hosting an essay writing contest, and the top 3 winners will receive a professional make-over and reveal their new professional look at the end of the conference. By supporting this conference, your organization can play a pivotal role in helping them transition into the workforce and create opportunities for long-term success.

We offer various sponsorship levels, each providing valuable exposure and recognition at the event and across our marketing materials. As a sponsor, your organization will be positioned as a champion for education, personal development, and career readiness, aligning your brand with positive, transformative change for these students.

We would be honored to have your support and look forward to discussing how we can partner to make this event a success. Please find additional details on sponsorship opportunities in the flyer below for your review.

If you have any questions or would like to explore this opportunity further, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Thank you for considering this meaningful opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of young adults working to transform their futures.
