EDINBURG, Texas – Palm Valley Animal Society was honored to celebrate the life of Amanda Robledo alongside her friends and family during a plaque dedication ceremony.
Amanda was a 25-year-old animal lover passionate about caring and advocating for pets in the Rio Grande Valley, specifically PVAS pets. She loved life, loved to laugh, and loved dogs.
In light of her recent passing, her family knew that they wanted to give back to the community in a way that would appropriately honor her memory and represent the compassionate Amanda they would always remember. Friends and family rallied together and collectively raised money and dog food in Amanda’s honor. The funds were then donated to Palm Valley Animal Society, which held a special place in Amanda’s heart, to continue helping the lost and homeless pets of the Rio Grande Valley. A plaque with Amanda’s name now sits above one of our puppy kennels, which will single-handedly house hundreds of puppies each year. Her memory will be kept alive through the pets that her family’s generous donation will serve.
A memorial gift is a donation made after someone passes to memorialize and honor their life. When you donate to Palm Valley Animal Society, you create a lasting impact on the lives of lost and homeless pets in the Rio Grande Valley, no matter the size of your gift.
