Pharr, Texas – The PSJA North Early College High School Raiderettes recently competed at the MA Dance Nationals in Fort Worth March 23-24, and returned with top awards.
Their awards include 1st place in Officer Jazz, 1st place in Officer Lyrical, 1st Place in Officer Contemporary, 2nd Place in Team Hip-Hop, 2nd Place in Team Pom, 2nd Place in Team Lyrical and 3rd Place in Team Jazz.
The group sponsored by Raiderette Director Joey Aguillon and Assistant Director Vanessa Martinez, also recently participated in the American Dance/Drill Team contest in San Antonio where they received Best in Class Medium Team, Best in Class Officers, Best of the Best Dance Team and Best of the Best Dance Officers.
This year’s officers include: Seniors Karlee Rodriguez, Natalie Navarro, Serina Vargas and Juniors Laney Lopez, Victoria Meza and Erin Palacios.
